Expert Driving Instructors

Shield Driving School was started in 2005 by Brad Bixler. As a drivers ed teacher at Central Dauphin High School, Brad saw the need for a higher quality program in the Harrisburg area. He teamed up with local police departments and recruited qualified traffic safety experts to work one-on-one with students. Two former PennDOT examiners are also a part of our team.

Quality driving instruction provides the foundation needed for safe driving practices. At Shield Driving School, our instructors ensure their students have the basic skills, knowledge, and habits needed for safety on the road.
